Kurkure is a spicy and crunchy snack. Kids love to eat them. These kurkures are prepared with rice and spices. This method is very easy and quick. You can store them for a year.

1 cup rice
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp oil
For seasoning-
chaat masala, garam masala, black salt, salt,
tomato powder kashmiri red chilli powder.
1. Wash rice with water for 2-3 times.

2. Add washed rice, 5 cups of water, salt, black pepper powder, baking soda in a pressure cooker. Stir and close the lid and take two whistles on medium flame.

3. Allow to cool.

4. Open the lid, and mash with a spoon.

5. Transfer boiled rice in a vessel and allow to cool it for 3-4 minutes.

6. I have used piping bag, instead of it you can also use Ziplock bag or an empty milk bag. Any one which is easily available at home.

7. Fill the bag with boiled rice.

8. Spread a clean plastic sheet.

9. Make a small cut in the corner with the help of scissors.

10. Pipe out paste in small lines on the plastic sheet as shown in the video. Allow them to dry in sun light or under the fan for 2-3 days.

11. They are completely dry now.

12. Fill them in a container and one can store them for a year.

13. Whenever you want to eat, fry them in hot oil on high flame.

14. When they are hot add all spices according to the choice. I have added chaat masala, garam masala, black salt, salt, tomato powder and mixed them nicely. If you want to make it spicier add kashmiri red chilli powder.

15. Super crunchy and tasty chawal ke kurkures are ready.

16. Enjoy homemade kukure.
