1 cup = 200ml 1/2 cup Maida (flour) 1/4 cup condensed milk 2 tbsp oil/ butter 2 tbsp powdered sugar 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla essence Milk if needed 1/8 tsp red food colour
Add condensed milk, oil, powdered sugar in a bowl and mix. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and mix in wet ingredients. Add vanilla essence and mix. Take out 1 tbsp prepared cake batter in bowl. Add red food colour in 1 tbsp cake batter and mix. Fill red cake batter in a piping bag and cut a small tip with the help of scissors. I have greased a 7 inch cake tin with butter and dusted with flour. I have drawn small heart shapes on a parchment paper. Place the parchment paper from opposite site in the greased cake tin. Pipe out and prepare small hearts with red cake batter. Bake for 2 minutes on 180 degree in a preheated oven. Little hearts are baked properly. Pour the leftover white cake batter over the baked little hearts. Spread evenly. Tap 2 times and bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes on 180 degree. Take out the baked cake sheet from oven. It is baked perfectly. Run a knife in sides of cake and loosen the sides. Spread a kitchen towel on the board. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the kitchen towel. Demould the cake sheet immediately. Remove the parchment paper. Lovely cake sheet is ready. Remove the hard sides from the cake sheet. Cover the cake sheet with another kitchen towel and flip. Apply whipped chocolate cream on sheet and spread evenly. Roll the cake sheet immediately when it is hot. Cover nicely and keep in fridge for 1 hour. Take out the roll from fridge and cut in slices. Soft and spongy swiss rolls are ready.
