1 Kg fresh red carrots 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 cup milk powder 2 tbsp desi ghee (clarified butter) 1/2 tsp cardamom powder Chopped nuts
1. Peel and wash carrots and roughly chop them. 2. Add chopped carrots, 1/2 cup water and sugar in a pressure cooker. Close the lid and take 3-4 whistles on medium flame. 3. Allow to cool and open the lid. 4. Carrots are perfectly cooked. Mash them with a masher. 5. Add milk powder, stir and allow to cook on medium to high flame for 4-5 minutes. 6. The moisture has dried. Now add clarified butter. 7. Add cardamom powder, chopped nuts and mix. 8. Serve hot.
