Beetroot Cutlet, a delicious, colorful and healthy appetizer / snack.This is a beautiful crimson colored cutlet that is delicious as well. It serves as a great side dish, especially for parties where you might want items to pop in form of color and presentation. Enjoy it by itself or with chutney . Here i have shown the recipe with very few ingredients and no additive colors

2 Cups grated beetroot
2 Cups boiled & grated potatoes
1/2 Cup grated purple cabbage
1/2 Cup finely chopped onions
1 chopped green chilli
1/2 Tsp dry mango powder
1 Tsp red chilli powder
1/2 Tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 Cup dry bread crumbs(recipe link in discription box).
2Tbsp Maida (flour)
1/2 Cup dry bread crumbs for coating
Squeeze extra juice from the grated beetroot.

Store the beetroot juice.

Add potatoes, cabbage, onion, green chilli, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, black pepper powder, salt, bread crumbs.

Mix with hands.

Divide in two parts and roll in a thick disc.

Cut in heart shapes with a cutter.

Take out and press them from sides.

I have sieved the stored beetroot juice.

Add maida, salt, water and prepare a thin batter.

Dip prepared beetroot cutlet in maida batter and coat with dry bread crumbs.

Fry in hot oil. Flip and fry from other too.

Take them out and serve hot.

Beautiful, delicious and healthy beetroot cutlets are ready!!
