Prepare traditional Indian snacks for festive days. These are mouthwatering with long shelf life

½ cup chana dal (gram lentil)
½ cup yellow moong dal (skinless split green gram)
½ whole masoor dal (whole red Indian lentil)
Oil for frying
For seasoning –
Salt
Black salt
Red chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp citric acid
Soak Chana dal, masoor dal and yellow dal for 4-5 hours.

Drain out all the water and spread on a kitchen napkin. Tap with a cloth and try to absorb all the water and keep under in a fan for 10 minutes.

Fill a sieve with soaked chana dal and fry in hot oil. The flame should be on high.

Take them out. Fry masoor dal and moong dal in the same way.

For seasoning add all the spices in a bowl and mix.

Add salt in fried moong dal and allow to cool and store in an airtight container.

Add prepared seasoning in chana dal and allow to cool and store in an air tight container.

Add prepared seasoning in fried masoor dal and mix. Allow to cool and store in an air tight container. Enjoy with tea and friends.
