Frankie is the most popular food among the people now-a-days. These are easy to make and you can eat them as a meal too. Here I am presenting a recipe of veg paneer frankie served with frankie masala which is also homemade

For dough
# 3/4 Cup Maida (All purpose flour)
# 1/4 Cup Whole wheat flour (Aatta)
# 1 Boiled mashed potato
# 1tsp Salt
# 1tsp oil
For Pattie -
# 6-7 paneer fingers (approx. 3inches long)
# 2 boiled and mashed potato
# 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
# 1/2 Cup dry bread crumbs
# Red chilli powder, salt to taste
For assembling -
# Shredded cabbage, sliced onion, vinegar
For frankie masala-
# 2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp salt, 3 Tbsp dry mango powder, 2 Tbsp cumin powder,
2 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp garam masala powder.
For dough mix well maida, wheat flour, potato and salt and make a soft dough using water.

Add 1 tsp oil and knead it. Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.

For patties Add boiled potato, onion, red chilli powder and mix well.

Soak onions in vinegar.

For frankie masala add all ingredients in a bowl.

Roll the paneer fingers in prepared frankie masala.

Cover the paneer finger with potato mixture and prepare cylinder shaped patties.

Coat with dry bread crumbs.

Shallow fry them on medium flame.

Take them on a plate.

For frankie prepare small lemon size balls from the dough.

Dust in dry flour and roll in a thin disc.

Roast on pan from both sides applying oil on medium flame.

Keep covered in casserole.

For assembling place a shallow fried pattie on chapati, place cabbage, onions and sprinkle frankie masala and roll it.

Healthy, yummy frankie is ready to eat.
