Crispy Potato Churros

Cooking Method :   

  2 medium size boiled and grated potato

  150g Maida ( all purpose flour)

  2 Tsp butter

  1 Tsp Salt

  1 Tsp Sugar

  1 Tsp oregano

  1 Tsp Red Chilli flakes

  1/2 Tsp black pepper powder

  1/2 Tsp. Instant active dry yeast/ 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda

  1/4 Cup fresh coriander

Add 50 ml water in a bowl and mix salt, sugar and dry yeast.

Add grated potato and mix well.

Add maida, melted butter, black pepper powder, oregano, red chilli flakes, fresh coriander and mix.

Gradually add water and make a thick batter.

Cover and keep aside for 30 minutes.

Now give a stir.

Place a star nozzle in a piping bag and fill the prepared batter.

We have to make churros like this in hot oil.

Pipe out the churros in hot oil on medium flame and cut with scissors as shown in the video. Be careful!!

Flip them gently and fry till they become dark golden brown. The oil should be hot and flame on medium.

Take them out from oil.

Next batch is also ready.
