Heat oil in a
pan add curry leaves and roast on low flame till they become crispy.
ingredients except red chilli, turmeric, salt and asofoetida.
Roast on low
flame for 6-7 minutes.
Add red chilli
and roast for 2 minutes more.
Switch off the
flame and add turmeric, salt and asofoetida. Mix well.
a plate and allow to cool.
Fill in the
mixer jar and make a fine powder.
Store in an
airtight container. Homemade sambhar masala's shelf life is 5-6 month.
