Kutchi dabeli is a famous gujrati snack, which is spicy, tangy and sweet. You can make it at home without using market ka dabeli masala without compromising in taste.

- For stuffing

  500g Boiled and mashed potatoes

  2tbsp red chilli powder

  1tsp garam masala

  2tsp dry mango powder (aamchoor powder)

  1tsp salt or to taste

  1tbsp coriander powder

  1tbsp oil

  1/2tsp turmeric powder

  1/2 cup tamarind chutney ( 2tbsp sugar, 2tbsp tamarind paste)

For assembling-

  1/2 Cup without skin peanut, 1/2cup nylon sev, 1/2 pomegranate seeds,

2tbsp raisins

(fresh grapes), 2tbsp fresh coriander, 1tbsp butter, Pav (Bread buns)

Heat 1tsp oil in a pan. Add peanuts and roast for a minute.

Add 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4tsp garam masala, 1/4tsp dry mango powder. Mix well.

Switch off the flame and add 1/4tsp red chilli powder. Spicy masala peanuts are ready. Keep aside.

Heat 1tbsp oil in the same pan.

Add potatoes.

Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, dry mango powder and mix well.

Add tamarind chutney and 1/2 cup water.

Pour the potato mixture in a plate and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle raisins, pomegranate, peanuts and fresh coriander. Press gently.

Make a pocket in bread bun with a knife.

Stuff the prepared potato stuffing in bread bun.

Stick masala peanuts and nylon sev on sides of the stuffed bun.

Add 1/4tsp butter on a hot tawa and roast the stuffed bun from both sides for a minute.

Homemade Kutchchi dabeli is ready to eat....
