Aam Papad

Aam papad is a simple and easy recipe. It is a recipe for mango lovers where you can enjoy the taste of mango even after end of mango season.

Cooking Method :   

 700g Chopped Mango

 125g Sugar

 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

 1/2 tsp Black Salt

1/2 tsp Black Pepper

For Greasing :- 1 tsp Ghee (clarified butter)

Add chopped mango and sugar in a mixing jar. Blend it in a smooth puree.

Add in a nonstick pan and cook on medium flame.

It has started to thicken.

The puree is enough thick and has become shiny.

For tasting pour some cooked puree on a plate and rotate. If it sticks on the plate it means the puree is perfectly cooked.

Switch off the flame. Add salt, pepper powder and cardamom powder and mix.

Place a parchment paper on a tray. You can grease a plate with some ghee (clarified butter)

Pour cooked mango puree on parchment paper and spread evenly.

Sun dry for 2 days.

After two days remove from parchment paper.

Cut in desired shape and store in an airtight container.

They are perfectly dry and thin.
