Eggless Mava Cake

This Eggless Mawa Cake is perfect for the beginners, baked in vessel on stove top. The easiest and simple recipe for cake lovers, who love to eat homemade cake in an easy manner. It is simply yummy and perfect as a tea time cake.

Cooking Method :   

(1 Cup = 250 ml)

 1 Cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)

 1/2 Cup Mava/ Khoya/ evaporated milk

 1/2 Cup Sugar

 1/2 Whole Milk

 1/2 Cup -1Tbsp Butter

 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda

 1/2 Tsp Cardamom Powder

 1/4 Cup chopped almonds

 1/4 Cup chopped walnuts

1.       Add salt, place a ring and keep a plate over it. Cover with a lid and preheat the vessel on low flame for 10 minutes.

2.       Add khoya/mava and milk in a jar and blend it.

3.       Beat butter and sugar in a bowl.

4.       Add mava-milk mixture and mix well.

5.       Sieve maida, baking powder, baking soda in butter-sugar-mava mixture.

6.       Add cardamom powder, chopped walnuts and almonds. Mix and fold gently.

7.       Add 1/4 cup milk.

8.       Pour the batter in prepared cake tin.

9.       Spread it evenly.

10.   Sprinkle chopped nuts and tap the cake tin.

11.   Place the cake tin in preheated vessel. Cover it and allow to cook for 25-30 minutes on low flame.

12.   After 30 minutes remove the lid and check with a toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean, this means the cake is perfectly done.

13.   Remove it from vessel and allow to cool completely.

14.   When it cools completely demould the cake.

15.   Gorgeous, beautiful, yummy cake is ready without oven.
