Whole Wheat Healthy Biscuits

Cookies / Biscuits

Cooking Method :   

1.       1 cup Whole Wheat Flour

2.       1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar

3.       1/2 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)

4.       1/2 tsp baking powder

5.       1/8 tsp salt

6.       2 tbsp milk

§  Take a bowl, add butter and then add sugar.

§  Mix them well.

§  Add baking powder and salt.

§  After add whole wheat flour.

§  Mix all these ingredients well.

§  Now add milk and make a dough. You can add more milk if required.

§  Do not over mix.

§  Make a ball with the dough.

§  Using a rolling pin flatten the dough.

§  Cut biscuits with a cutter.

§  Place the biscuits in a baking tray.

§  Prick the biscuits using a fork.

§  Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 180°C for 18 minutes.

§  Take them out and cool on a wire rack for few minutes.

§  Store them in an air tight container.
