Gulabjamun Cake

The Gulabjamun Cake is made with gulabjamun mix, stuffed with gulabjamun and topped with gulabjamun. So you can enjoy the gulabjamun with cake or the cake with gulabjamun.

Cooking Method :   

  3/4 Cup Gulabjamun Mix

  3/4 Cup APF (Maida)

  3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

  1 Cup Fresh malai

  1/4 Cup Oil

  1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

  1/4 Tsp Baking Soda

  1/2 Tsp Cardamom powder

  1/2 Cup Nondairy whipping cream

  8-10 Gulabjamuns

Add fresh malai and sugar and mix well.

Add oil and mix well.

Add cardamom powder.

Sieve maida, gulabjamun mix, baking powder, baking soda.

Mix it gently.

Add 1-2 tbsp water or milk and mix again.

Pour this batter in greased & lined cake tin.

Spread it evenly.

Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes on 180 degree Celsius.

Take out and check it with a toothpick. If it comes clean then cake is perfectly baked.

Allow to cool completely. Whip the cream till stiff peaks. Demould the cake carefully.

Slice the cake with a sharp knife.

Soak the cake with gulabjamun sugar syrup.

Spread whipped cream over the bottom cake slice.

Cut Gulab Jamun in small pieces.

Place them on cake slice.

Again cover the cake with whipped cream. Cover it with another cake slice.

Fill the whipped cream in a piping bag and make rosettes on top cake layer or as desired.

Place gulabjamun on rosettes.

Enjoy yummy....gulabjamun cake.....
